Excellent Humor Sites

From the Dancing Donut to the donut icons to the photos of the original franchises in the 1950's, to the list of all the different donuts they bake, a donut lover like me has gotta love this site: Krispy Kreme Donuts. Too bad I'm a low-carbie nowadays. But I can dream, can't I? http://www.krispykreme.com/

A Gallery of Regrettable Foodstuffs from more than twenty horrid cookbooks from the 40's, 50's, & 60's, plus bad ads featuring Ronald Reagan and Eleanor Roosevelt among others, along with the most ghastly jolly Green Giant you'll ever see. Well worth a visit during those ludicrous moments when you're pining for the "good old days." http://www.lileks.com/institute/gallery/

The Borowitz Report, subtitled as "The News, reshuffled," offers, in this writer's opinion, the most clever, good-natured, and accurate political satire/commentary on the web with its stories that compare to those in The Onion. You get the idea with headlines like: "Obama Promises Syria Strike Will Have No Objective," "Obama Urged to Resign Over Beyoncé Scandal," "Florida Conisders Eliminating Laws Altogether," and "Christie Forced out of GOP Race By Empathy Scandal." Andy Borowitz of New Yorker fame is an equal-opportunity satirist. No pre-assigned conservative or liberal bent here—it's all funny and it's all pertinent. Check it out at http://newyorker.com/online/blogs/borowitzreport and on Twitter at https://twitter.com/BorowitzReport

Not feeling very successful lately? Then the Demotivators collection from Despair, Inc. is for you: Featuring all of the Demotivators designs in posters, cards, and other stuff you don't need, as well as more than 120 examples of human failure, stupidity, and misfortune. Check out the despairwear and pessimist's mug. Not depressed enough? Subscribe to the podcast, so you can commiserate about everybody just like you who is never good enough, never satisfied, and never appreciated by the boss. We're not getting any commission for introducing you to this line of products ... heck, with our luck, the company would go bankrupt after we became involved ... but on some of your more despairing days, you can take comfort – as we do – in knowing that all the mediocrity, mistakes, and madness of life are not solely your own. Did I say something about excellent humor at the top of this page? Never mind that. http://www.despair.com/
