People drifting from place to place, caught up in all life's troubles,
Barely take time to see another face, barely stop to feel a trace of love.
Too busy rushing to look around, see into the eyes of others.
Talking to ourselves, we don't hear a sound.
Where are we bound? Where are we bound?

CHORUS:
Make this journey a miracle. Make this journey my peace of mind.
Make this journey my contribution to the lives of all humankind.
Make this journey a miracle. Make this journey my dream come true.
Take this journey from inside me, and place it inside you.

People hurry through endless aisles of plastics and polyesters.
Backed up on the highway for a thousand miles, never look out to find a smiling face.
Conversation inside the head... upset for every reason.
What is it really the voices said? Love isn't dead. Love isn't dead.

CHORUS:
Make this journey a miracle. Make this journey my peace of mind.
Make this journey my contribution to the lives of all humankind.
Make this journey a miracle. Make this journey my dream come true.
Take this journey from inside me, and place it inside you.

Make this journey my dream-come-true.
Take this journey from inside me, and place it inside you.

CHORUS:
My Body is the Temple of God.
My Body is the Temple of God.
My Body is a sanctum of the highest power.
My Body is the Temple of God.

My eyes behold the beauty of the world.
My mind dwells in knowingness and truth.
The fragrance of creation scintillates my senses.
My Body is the Temple of God.

My mouth tastes the wonders of the earth.
My lungs inhale the freshness of the wind.
My arms hold the love of all humanity.
My Body is the Temple of God.

CHORUS
My Body is the Temple of God.
My Body is the Temple of God.
My Body is a sanctum of the highest power.
My Body is the Temple of God.

My shoulders are both flexible and strong.
My hands are softly gentle, yet firm.
My blood is a balance of Divine Perfection,
My Body is the Temple of God.

My bones are an embodiment of strength.
My ears draw in the symphony of life.
My legs stride with freedom and vitality;
My Body is the Temple of God.

CHORUS
My Body is the Temple of God.
My Body is the Temple of God.
My Body is a sanctum of the highest power.
My Body is the Temple of God.

My hair shines with luster and with light.
My neck sits securely and at ease.
My feet absorb the movement of the universe.
My Body is the Temple of God.

My cells are my cleansing and renewal.
My voice intones a hymn of my joy.
My pulse beats my purpose and my destiny.
My Body is the Temple of God.

CHORUS
My Body is the Temple of God.
My Body is the Temple of God.
My Body is a sanctum of the highest power.
My Body is the Temple of God.

My soul is an altar of God-praise.
My health is a spring of God-delight.
My spirit is a current of God-energy.
My Body is the Temple of God.

CHORUS
My Body is the Temple of God.
My Body is the Temple of God.
My Body is a sanctum of the highest power.
My Body is the Temple of God.

Of God. Of God. Of God. Of God. Of God

I gaze upon the open waters. My feet are rooted in the sand.
And with each breath, I feel the force of life, echoing God's eternal plan.
How do I contemplate such beauty, the vastness of each galaxy,
Each blade of grass that hides a tiny soul, all part of God's divinity?

CHORUS:
Where have we been, where are we going?
We've touched so many generations with our own.
We have been travelers in the desert, but we have never been alone.
We journey to one destination, and gain compassion from our struggle, from our strife.
Now let us live in celebration of our passages of life.

We reach our hand out to another. We chart a path on endless seas.
We build a bridge to wisdom, peace, and joy ... a bridge that spans the centuries.
We've made our way through darkened forests, searching for light to lead us home.
Through paths of fear, we've found our way to faith. Now we no longer need to roam.

CHORUS:
Where have we been, where are we going?
We've touched so many generations with our own.
We have been travelers in the desert, but we have never been alone
We dwell in constant exploration, gaining compassion from our struggle, from our strife.
Now let us live in celebration of our passages of life.

So much to give, to make a difference. We form our heaven from this earth.
We share one dream, one timeless destiny that we've inherited from birth:
To plant a tree, to write a story, to meditate on stars above.
Each sunrise yields new treasures and rewards. We leave a legacy of love.

CHORUS:
Where have we been, where are we going?
We've touched so many generations with our own.
We have been travelers in the desert, but we have never been alone
We have a sacred obligation to gain compassion from our struggle, from our strife.
To live in celebration of our passages ... to live in celebration of our passages ...
Oh, let us live in celebration ... of our passages of life.

A bird is singing, chirping merrily.
Though I’ve been crying, the song is calling me.
Lift my mind, bird, with your lovely melody!
With your sweet spirit, I know I can be free!

CHORUS:
I choose to pivot from this pain,
Toss away the ball and chain,
Shift my focus and my brain in new directions.
I choose to pivot from what’s wrong,
Turn something weak to something strong,
With joy to last my whole life long, starting now!

A breeze is blowing gently against my skin,
Helping me realize the darkness I’ve been in.
Open my eyes, breeze, how I want to see again!
I’m ready to feel good, let the happiness begin!

CHORUS:
I choose to pivot from my tears,
Dance away my dreary fears,
Spin about and switch my gears toward new connections.
I choose to pivot from no to yes,
Turn thought from failure to success,
Swivel around and feel the blessings growing now!

Anything can happen in the world that I create.
Instead of struggling, I can reverse the hands of fate.
Every moment is chance to celebrate!
And to be willing for life to turn out great!

CHORUS:
I choose to pivot from this pain,
Toss away the ball and chain,
Shift my focus and my brain in new directions.
I choose to pivot from what’s wrong,
Turn something weak to something strong,
With joy to last my whole life long, starting now!

I choose to pivot from my tears,
Dance away my dreary fears,
Spin about and switch my gears toward new connections.
I choose to pivot from no to yes,
Turn thought from failure to success,
Swivel around and feel the blessings growing now!

Swivel around and feel the blessings growing now!
With joy to last my whole life long, starting now!
