January 2005

"We had a fabulous Opening Night of LITTLE WOMEN on January 23rd, and a wonderful Opening Night Party at Tavern On The Green with the "Four Stephens Susies" instead of the "Four March Sisters." My son Eric flew in from Los Angeles for the opening and snapped this picture of the "Four Stephens Susie's." In the musical, there is a very moving moment where the sisters clasp hands and yell, "The four March sisters forever!" We said, "The four Stephens Susie's Forever!" We are Susan Goulet (Assistant Electrician on the show) myself, Pamela Benoit (Meunch) and Ginger Prince (both investors in the show). We had a terrific evening!

Our ads say that we are a MUST SEE and this is a must watch! I'm very proud of this show and to quote Jo March - I want the world to know that "LITTLE WOMEN IS HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!! If anyone wants any more information, or would like to do a piece on me regarding my now producing LITTLE WOMEN on Broadway, please let me know.

May 2005

This year during spring break, a number of Stephens students traveled to New York to see LITTLE WOMEN on Broadway. They had an opportunity to meet the cast after the show and had a class with writer Allan Knee (FINDING NEVERLAND and the book for LITTLE WOMEN) and lyricist Mindi Dickstein (LITTLE WOMEN, STRANGE VACATION) the following day. Jana is happy to arrange tickets for individuals or groups to see the show.

Little Women received 7 Audience Award nominations at http://www.Broadway.com, including one for Best Musical. Included are two nominations for Sutton, a nomination for Danny Gurwin as Laurie and Jenny Powers as Meg, and a nomination for "Astonishing" as best song. Read the article and cast your vote.
